Basketball Recap: Roseland University Prep Comes Up Short

Roseland University Prep lost against Calistoga back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Roseland University Prep Knights came up short against the Calistoga Wildcats, falling 45-22.

Calistoga's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hania Cortez led the charge by putting up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Italia Barrera, who posted 12 points.

Roseland University Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Calistoga, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Roseland University Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-45 loss against Victory Christian Academy on the 28th. Calistoga has also already played their next game, a 22-15 defeat against College View Academy on the 25th.
