Softball Recap: Newnan Cougars vs. Lovejoy Wildcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newnan). They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Lovejoy Wildcats on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.
Piper Willey looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
