Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloomington). They strolled past the Rim of the World Fighting Scots with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 43-29. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their 11-game losing streak.

Bloomington's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-21. As for Rim of the World, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomington will take on Notre Dame in a tournament on Monday. Notre Dame will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bloomington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rim of the World, they will take on Jurupa Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
