It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Grovetown ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Heritage Patriots 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Patriots on Wednesday, they had to take a 7-3 defeat.

Grovetown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Riggs, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Grovetown's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Grovetown nor Heritage have any future games scheduled.
