Basketball Recap: Keldon Loecker's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bloomfield over Winside

Bloomfield blew Winside out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Winside got their revenge. The Bees fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bees have suffered since January 2nd.

Bloomfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Keldon Loecker, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Beau Eisenhauer, who scored 18 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Bloomfield and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Winside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Bloomfield has already played their next contest (against Niobrara/Verdigre), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Winside will take on Newman Grove/St. Edward in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
