Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Houston County). They blew past the Northside Eagles 13-0 on Tuesday. The Bears not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18, 2024 (when they won 16-2).

The win was the third in a row for Houston County, bringing their record up to 10-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Northside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Houston County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Northside: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
