Baseball Recap: Brooks County Comes Up Short

Brooks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-3 to the Clinch County Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss on Friday.

Brooks County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Clinch County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Coming up, Brooks County will square off against Atkinson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinch County, they will face off against Charlton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinch County is on a three-game streak of home wins, Charlton County a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
