Soccer Recap: Mt. Carmel Falls Short of Patrick Henry in the Playoffs

Mt. Carmel and Patrick Henry squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Mt. Carmel had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patrick Henry Patriots by a score of 2-1. The Sundevils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Patrick Henry, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Mt. Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Patrick Henry, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Long Beach Poly on the 4th.
