Preview: Madera South Stallions vs. Sanger West Hornets
Madera South is 3-0 against Sanger West since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Madera South Stallions will be playing at home against the Sanger West Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Madera South will be strutting in after a victory while Sanger West will be coming in after a loss.
Madera South posted their closest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged Sunnyside out 38-35.
BRIANNAH LORTA continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Sanger West, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 39-20 loss to Hoover on Wednesday. Sanger West has not had much luck with Hoover recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Madera South's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Sanger West, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
Madera South strolled past Sanger West in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 37-22. Does Madera South have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sanger West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
