Softball Recap: Cedar Grove Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cedar Grove's offense. They came up short against the Redan Raiders on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Saints were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Grove and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Redan, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Cedar Grove will head out to square off against Luella at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Redan, they will challenge Columbia at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
