Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pepperell

Pepperell entered their tilt with Haralson County on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Haralson County Rebels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-4 last Tuesday.

Cade Middleton spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, JP Kilgo was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Luke Alford also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Pepperell's record is now 9-5. As for Haralson County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Pepperell will have a chance to go back-to-back against Haralson County: the pair will be back at it again later today.
