Softball Recap: Western Christian Comes Up Short

Western Christian lost against Akron-Westfield two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolfpack came up short against the Westerners, falling 14-4.

Western Christian dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Akron-Westfield, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Coming up, Western Christian will square off against MOC-Floyd Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Akron-Westfield, they will be playing at home against Hinton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Westerners surely won't give up without a fight.
