Softball Recap: Dickson Comes Up Short

Dickson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Cache Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2020.

Dickson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Cache, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Dickson has already played their next matchup, an 8-6 loss against Latta on the 8th. As for Cache, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-0 win against Mount St. Mary on the 8th.
