Central Arkansas Christian extends home winning streak to 11

Recap: Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs vs. Lamar Warriors

The Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.1 points), and they went ahead and made it 19 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 67-46 margin over Lamar. Central Arkansas Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lamar still got an impressive performance from Ben Noonan, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Noonan has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaz Crotts, who scored eight points.

Even though they lost, Lamar smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. This was only their second loss (out of eight games) when they hit their own glass that hard.

Central Arkansas Christian's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-8.

Central Arkansas Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-29 win vs. Baptist Prep on the 8th. Lamar has also already played their next matchup, a 68-45 win against Mayflower on the 8th.
