Softball Recap: Wahoo Warriors vs. Freeman Falcons
If Wahoo was feeling good fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Malcolm on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Freeman Falcons by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
Addison Smart was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Wesely, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
