Soccer Recap: Byron Takes a Loss

Byron was the 1-1 winner over Harlem when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers lost 5-1 to the Huskies on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Byron were already down 4-0.

Byron's loss dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for Harlem, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

Byron will welcome Marengo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlem, they will head out on the road to challenge Boylan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harlem's defense better be ready for this one: Boylan Catholic have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season.
