Baseball Recap: Millbrook Comes Up Short

Millbrook lost to Spackenkill on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blazers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kole Tempestilli made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Conklin, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Spackenkill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spackenkill, they will square off against Rondout Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
