If Akins wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dripping Springs, they should've done a better job of containing Sydney Lund. The Tigers blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Lund, who had five digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-7, 25-17.

Dripping Springs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-16 record this season. As for Akins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-21 record this season.
