Texas High School Volleyball - Dripping Springs over Akins

September 26, 2025: Dripping Springs, TX 78620

In Friday's league challenge, the host Dripping Springs Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Akins Eagles.

The Tigers (21-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Cardinals come into the 6A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 8-17 record. In their last challenge, Del Valle lost by Austin (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 test, on Tuesday, September 30. Akins will attempt to advance on its 10-21 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 20-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX).
