In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Westlake Chaparrals.

The Tigers (20-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers come into the 6A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 26-9 record. In their last challenge, Lake Travis lost by Austin (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Chaparrals face the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 game, on Tuesday, September 23. Westlake will attempt to advance on its 22-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 20-15 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Round Rock (Round Rock, TX).
