The Westlake Chaparrals volleyball squad (Austin, TX), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX)

With the win, Canyon improves its record to 11-6 on the season. The Cougars host Reagan (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Rattlers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Rattlers go into the battle with a record of 8-4. Reagan won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Georgetown (Georgetown, TX)

Next, the Chaparrals battle the Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Westlake will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Timberwolves enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX).
