The Westlake Chaparrals held off the host Tivy Antlers volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Chaparrals now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to O'Connor for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Westlake will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Tivy falls to 7-8 on the year. The Antlers host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, August 26.
