Anderson and Lassen combined for 23 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Anderson Cubs fell just short of the Lassen Grizzlies by a score of 3-2. The result was nothing new for the Cubs as the squad haven't won a game since December 9, 2024.

Kendyl Jones and Sydney Clemons scored both of Anderson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Lassen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.
