Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah was the 5-0 winner over Creekview when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies on Friday.

Sequoyah dropped their record down to 14-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Creekview, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Creekview beat Sequoyah by a score of 2-1 later that day.
