Softball Recap: Grain Valley Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Grain Valley entered their tilt with Raytown on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They didn't even let the Bluejays on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Grain Valley's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Raytown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Grain Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Fort Osage on the 30th. As for Raytown, they will venture away from home to square off against Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.25 runs per game on average), something the Bluejays will no doubt try to take advantage of.
