Baseball Recap: Seneca Indians vs. Kickapoo Panthers

Seneca won the last time they faced Kickapoo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Kaden Roberts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 15 Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Seneca got a massive performance out of Hunter Hagensick, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Hagensick is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Sawyer Swiggum also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Seneca always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kickapoo only posted an OBP of .172.
