Baseball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Monroe's offense. They came up short against the Peach County Trojans on Friday, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Tuesday.

Monroe has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. The win was the tenth in a row for Peach County, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Coming up, Monroe will host Cairo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Peach County, they will face off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
