Animo Bunche came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Downtown Magnets Suns a 5-0 shutout. Considering the Stallions have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Downtown Magnets with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jocelyn Perez (2), Jaylin Zepeda, Darlyn Garcia, and Alison Villasenor.

Animo Bunche pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Downtown Magnets, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
