Soccer Recap: Sandy Creek Starts Season with Draw at Home

Sandy Creek's season-opener on Friday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. They and the Rockdale County Bulldogs finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

Giancarlo Alvarado and Gerardo Aguilera scored both of Sandy Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy Creek is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Callaway at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rockdale County, they will face off against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
