Indianola won the last time they faced Des Moines East and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians blew past the Scarlets 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Indianola has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Des Moines East, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
