Hollister's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Haybalers have lost by just one goal.

Hollister's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6-1. As for Rancho San Juan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4-2.

The future could be bright for both Hollister and Rancho San Juan: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Hollister will look to extend Monterey's eight-game losing streak when the meet at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rancho San Juan will try to hand Everett Alvarez their third-straight loss when the two meet at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
