Basketball Recap: Upper St. Clair Takes a Loss

Upper St. Clair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 46-32 fall against the Norwin Knights. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Upper St. Clair's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Norwin, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Upper St. Clair and Norwin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Panthers will take on Connellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (122 vs. 358). Meanwhile, Norwin (ranked 11th) will meet Mt. Lebanon (ranked 272nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
