Softball Recap: Liberty County Falls Short of North Hall in the Playoffs

Liberty County and North Hall squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Liberty County had to settle for second. They lost 14-0 to the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Liberty County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amiyah Payne, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Liberty County's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for North Hall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

While Liberty County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
