Softball Recap: Locust Grove Comes Up Short

Locust Grove fell victim to Hilldale and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Thursday.

Locust Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Hilldale, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Locust Grove has already played their next contest (against Sequoyah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hilldale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-3 win against Deer Creek on the 26th.
