Cedaredge dropped down to 15-6 on Saturday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They came up short against  the Brush Beetdiggers, falling  12-2. The Bruins were red-hot at the plate heading into the  game (they scored no less than ten  runs in the six  contests prior), but the Beetdiggers' pitcher proved too tough.
 Cedaredge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jewel Laliberte, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run.
As for Brush, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
On Brush's side,  Elizabeth Peckham made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Peckham has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Jolie Tuck was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Kyleigh Greenwood, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
As of now, neither Cedaredge nor Brush have any future games scheduled.
