Volleyball Recap: Logos Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Logos Prep Academy lost against Fort Bend Christian Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-17.

Riley Harper paced Logos Prep Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Harper got some help from Emma Rose Lieke and her 13 assists. Allie Pikkula controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Logos Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-16-1. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 23-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Logos Prep Academy will face off against rival Lutheran South Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Second Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
