Softball Recap: Waterloo West Extends Winning Streak to Three

Waterloo West had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Davenport West Falcons.

Waterloo West's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Davenport West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Waterloo West and Davenport West will both be playing Assumption the next time they take the field. The Wahawks will head out to face the Knights on Saturday, while the Falcons will head out to face them on Monday.
