Volleyball Recap: Cuba Rams vs. Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls
If Cuba was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Aztec on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls on Saturday. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Owls from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
Cuba started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 26-24, 25-21.
Leading Oak Grove Classical Academy to victory were Claire Johnson and Lexee Schroeder. Johnson had seven aces and three digs, while Schroeder had 17 assists and five digs. That's the most aces Johnson has posted since back in October of 2024.
