Soccer Recap: Nordhoff Comes Up Short

Nordhoff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Fillmore Flashes an easy 5-1 victory. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Rangers it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Evelyn Arellano, which was the first she's scored this season.

Nordhoff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fillmore, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1-1.

Nordhoff is taking a road trip to challenge Hueneme at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fillmore, they will be home for the holidays to greet Santa Paula at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
