Baseball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Cartersville Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-2 last Tuesday.

Southeast Whitfield County's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Cartersville, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hurricanes beat Southeast Whitfield County by a score of 15-0 later that day.
