Baseball Recap: Dacula Takes a Loss

Dacula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buford Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 last Monday.

Cody Bullard was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Jared Glenn was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run.

Dacula's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Buford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

While Dacula had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
