Softball Recap: Enid Comes Up Short

Enid fell victim to Choctaw and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0. The Plainsmen haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Enid's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Choctaw, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Enid didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Edmond North on the 9th. As for Choctaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Edmond Memorial on the 8th.
