Softball Game Preview: Clayton Greyhounds vs. McCluer North Stars

The Clayton Greyhounds are taking a road trip to take on the McCluer North Stars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Clayton will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Clayton earned a 17-14 victory over McCluer North.

For McCluer North's part, Makayla Kirchner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Marayah Taylor, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

McCluer North's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2. As for Clayton, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
