Volleyball Game Preview: South County Stallions vs. Fairfax Lions

The South County Stallions will challenge the Fairfax Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Monday, South County came up short against West Springfield and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Despite the loss, South County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Adrien Ly had 15 digs and three assists.

Meanwhile, Fairfax suffered their biggest defeat since November 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Robinson, falling 3-0.

Fairfax's loss ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2. As for South County, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.
