Marist never let their opponents score on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Andrew Thunderbolts 1-0. The RedHawks haven't had any issues with the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mark Coffey looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Marist saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Lawlor, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Marist's record is now 21-12. As for Andrew, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-19 record this season.

Marist is taking a road trip to face off against Evergreen Park at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The RedHawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. Andrew does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
