Baseball Recap: Claxton Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Claxton's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Bryan County Redskins on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Redskins recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Claxton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bryan County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Claxton will be playing in front of their home fans against Savannah at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Claxton has given up an average of 14.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Bryan County, they are taking a road trip to take on Claxton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
