GALA's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Venice Gondoliers a 3-0 shutout. The Goddesses might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Venice with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Layla Ward-Wallace, Josephine Song, and Giada Appelius.

GALA's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Venice, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. GALA will take on King/Drew at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Venice, they will square off against University at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
