Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Forest Lake Christian's Winning Streak

After soaring to 69 points the game before, Forest Lake Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sacramento Waldorf Waves, falling 41-19. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Forest Lake Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kenzie Harrington posted two points along with 13 boards and five blocks. Harrington is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 14 games she's played.

Forest Lake Christian's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-7. As for Sacramento Waldorf, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Foresthill the next time they take the court. Forest Lake Christian will host Foresthill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sacramento Waldorf will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
