Soccer Recap: Pacheco Comes Up Short

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Beyer Patriots, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 988th, while the Patriots are ranked 190th).

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Beyer, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Pacheco will take on Grace Davis at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacheco is facing Grace Davis at the right time seeing as Grace Davis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Beyer, they will face off against Central Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Valley will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Beyer surely won't give up without a fight.
