Baseball Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short

Clovis and Redwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clovis had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Rangers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Clovis has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season. As for Redwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.

Clovis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
